When many states added more time requirements for core classes, it became necessary to develop systems to accommodate the reduced time in P.E. and music while engaging students in learning the moment they enter the music room or gym.
Bouncing P.E. into the music room provides opportunities for students to have more physical activity while demonstrating music listening skills. If it was possible to P.E. in to the music room then marching music into the gym was next.
