Once students are familiar and comfortable with moving with the songs in Integrated Music and P.E. it is not surprising to find students singing along with the songs or echoing parts (since the songs were written with the idea of adding parts later.)
Learning the parts creates more opportunities to focus on the music aspects of Integrated Music & P.E.
Two, three, and four parts singing can be created by combining the melody, descant, marching ostinato, and spelling ostinatos in different combinations.
